West is a relative term.  It can be a location. It can be a lifestyle.  It can be a state of mind.

My work, and my entire approach to living, emerged from a landscape which shaped a bigger-than-life way of thinking. Western art can be many things, but the soul of my work was born of those intuitive sensibilities that assure us anything-is-possible.
